I shouldn't have put my hands on my wife. Now she is gone and has the kids too. I've not talk to her in two weeks almost. You need to get yourself some help first.

From what I have seen throughout my life, men who hurt their families don't really want to do that as some kind of diabolical plan. They just could not control their anger and let it out in a destructive way.

So, fix the problem first. Which is your anger. If you don't, you will hurt her or other people again. It may take years but if that's what it takes, that's what it takes.

You need to learn how to control your temper and how to act in a relationship. If she gets back with you it seems highly likely that something of that nature would happen again.
