Makeup; the Hypocrisy of Men.

Most men claim that they like a natural woman without makeup or little to no makeup... in fact makeup has somewhat of a negative reputation in the eyes of men. "Makeup is used by women as they are insecure", "makeup is just a way to hide flaws", and the many countless statements that men make.

But here is the reality of it all:

What does this mean? Men want a woman that looks refreshed, and would prefer to see clear skin, a glowy complexion, no puffy eyes or bags, and most likely with some definition in the eyes via mascara, and eyeliner. So at the end of the day men like makeup, and want a girl to wear makeup in efforts to look like a more defined version of themselves. Regardless of the amount of makeup, men are visual creatures and want a girl to look good, doesn't matter how. There is no doubt that men prefer a woman with makeup!

It isn't a hypocrisy of men... we live in a world where women have used makeup to skew what is considered beautiful and since WOMEN have done that we now have a society where women without makeup look like shit because the ones with makeup have raised what is considered attractive.
Men don't want women who wear makeup, but we also don't want ugly women.

The "social experiment" which is in no part scientific, has images which she is claiming are simply about the makeup but ignore all the other aspects of the image.
For example, one where she is super close up without makeup and the image looks all "in your face" will obviously not get as much attention as one where she is in a social situation where she happens to have makeup on.

Guys want to be able to recognize the woman they're with, and they probably prefer someone naturally beautiful. Why would you want to be in a relationship with someone when you can't smooch their face without worrying about the chemicals they've chosen to plaster their skin in? Guys just don't want to date girls they aren't attracted to, and when you wear makeup to alter your appearance that's totally unfair to them. Just take care of your skin and your health and that's all the beauty routine that you need.

This hook-up site is a bad resource, because most people on there don't think about and don't need to care, how a woman will look in their leasure time without the paint, because they only want to get laid, and not rarely only once.
Those who make that claim don't mean they prefer ugly women, they prefer natural beauty over artificial, and are just sick and tired of looking at all these badly painted clownfaces and all out putty masks everywhere.
There is a biological reason behind that claim too, because makeup counters natural selection. Makeup gets ugly ones laid too, and often they are stupid and selfish enough to reproduce and create more ugly ones.

Many times men do not realize that women do not have makeup.

Although it should be specified that in each country is a different case. In my country, Chile, we are curious that women from northern countries (Mexico, Colombia, the Caribbean) use so much makeup, since the women of our country use much less, and we are more accustomed to that.

Nobody said men don't like the way makeup "looks like", men simply don't like the way how makeup makes you look the way you don't.

Also, the experiment is useless because the girl used pictures from various points in time, making her look like completely different person on each one.
She should have taken a picture of herself in the same light, with the same hairstyle and same clothing and then we can talk.

This wouldn't be a problem if women would tone it down on the makeup to cover up their insecurities. But no, instead, let's just came up all the makeup on. And when guys see that you don't have eyebrows, acne and barely any eyelashes, don't blame the makeup or the guy, blame yourself for being an insecure twat.

Many men THINK they prefer a woman without makeup, but the truth is they prefer a little makeup, enough to give her a little color and definition.

But the problem is the trend among women today to go way overboard and look super fake and plastic-like. Women seem to have lost sight of the fact that makeup can be use to make them look better, not worse. THAT is the problem.

That's a contradiction, not hypocrisy. Hypocrisy is when you hold standards or beliefs that you don't hold yourself accountable to. So you could say it's hypocritical that men want women to wear makeup when they themselves don't wear it but it's not hypocrisy when a man says they like natural but their actions show they like a girl with makeup.
