If you believe in God, you must believe in hope. But not without proper action.
Hope is useless, only leads to disappointment, even if you hope for something minute like not getting fucked over on that day.

Being optimistic is being real, but also not being bitter. Seeing the opportunity in the bad and trying to take it. Besides seeing bad as bad and not getting anything out of it.
