This Take made me even more doubtful about getting a date. I don't want to have sex yet, and I thought a respectful guy would understand it, not have the "blah blah we met 3 times and didn't have sex so I'm rejecting you" mentality.

There's a few contradictions, it seems. Sexting supposedly signals she's not girlfriend material, yet having sex within three dates is good? Also - be independent AND old fashioned and let him lead? How does that work?

She was more of a friends with benefits then a girlfriend. This is one of the reasons I didn’t commit to her (bigger reason she was a freeloader)
The sexting part isn’t true. My friend sent lingerie pics to her boyfriend before they became an item and they’re still together 2 years later. Nothing wrong with being a bit kinky and sending bikini/lingerie pics. If the guy is really gonna judge you on that then he’s not the one or he’s a prude.
