I live long nails. I've had super long one since 8th grade. An mine are always pointed like Lana del Rey's. They're just pretty and thy just show that you take are if the little details. People give me a lot of compliments. And it's just something I like I find taking care of my nails a nice pass time, and I'm crafty so I like spin nail art. My nails look like this right now

I like having long nails. Not super long, and not fake or pointed, but I just think they look better when I paint them if they're not short. My guy's actually really turned on by the feeling of my nails running down his back. I don't scratch too hard, but he likes some pain with his pleasure.

Unpainted, Clipped fingernails on very healthy looking smallish girls hands can be incredibly sexy in my opinion, especially on the more pale side with a few or more Silver Rings and you're getting into "ask you out because of your hands" - level of sexy lol. Long or fake is not sexy in the slightest, fake isn't sexy, totally natural is what is really sexy, I feel like so many women just don't or won't believe this when guys say it they say "that's not possible that you think I actually look good when I'm not ready like this my hair is completely wet and im wearing yoga pants!!" You can go thinking that all you want but sorry to tell you but there is absolutely nothing feminine about long nails, that is unless your idea of femininity is the Wicked Witch of the West, seriously they're grotesque and they don't feel feminine either its the opposite of soft, and I can assure you that the vast majority of guys feels the same way I do. I'm really not a fan of nail polish either just because its so frequently used its actually kind of rare to see a girl (especially a very attractive girl) with short trimmed unpainted nails so much so that I actually often find it really hot when I do see it and although I never considered myself to have a finger/hand fetish, but nicely taken care of hands with short unpainted nails (especially when on the small side and attached to a girl I already really like) are just begging to be sucked/nibbled and for whatever reason find themselves in my mouth when the moment calls for it lol never would even think of that with long nails
