How long to wait to text girl after party?

I was at party last night and met a girl. We talked for a five minutes and she seemed really excited about that. Since her friends were around her and were watching us and smiling at us I just managed to get her number and first and last name and then leaved. How long should I wait before I text her? Maybe another day or two?
