What Girls Said
Calling anyone fat is not acceptable. Just don't do it. Whether or not she should have kicked you depends, I guess. If you have a track record of insulting girls and it's frequently her, then you probably deserved it. If it was a one time thing, a slap would have been sufficient. You have to understand though, it hurts when you call a girl fat. Words hurt. She probably wanted you to hurt because your words hurt her.

Yes! It's disrespectful; it shows a lack of social manners and the fact that you weren't able to control your anger tells a lot about you - that's not something that any girl would find attractive/desirable in a guy.
Since you say you said that to her out if anger, she probably kicked you in anger too. Not necessarily just because you called her fat. I feel like this might be an escalation of whatever else was going on at the time.

She did not over react one bit. It's not right to call a girl fat no matter what. You don't know what's going on in her head. You probably caused her the same amount of emotinal pain as she caused you physical. But unless she was skinny then she didn't over react. If she is skinny then you didn't deserve it

Calling someone fat is not worth getting kicked in the balls in my opinion. The most she even should have done was like slap or punch you but not kicking you in the balls.
Definitely over the top. If she was going to resort to physical violence due to such a harmless comment, then slapping you at best should have sufficed.
People need to stop being so sensitive.
to @abundantlyrich I have all the sunshine I need. But getting kicked in the balls is no joke. And for such a tiny comment? Come on! People need to stop being so damn sensitive. (I will get past you blocking me)
No one like being called fat, but it's not worthy of a kick in the balls. If it had been me I think I would have come up with a sick comeback. 5 hours later. x)
Not worth a kick in the balls but she may be more of a kicker, having a hard time punching. I would have kicked you on the shin or slapped you, or both, or just start crying my eyes out.
Yes. The physical pain will pass but nothing compares to the depressing harrowing sadness from bullying. I'm still affected from bullying from 10 years ago.
You're a horrible person

No. Violence shows a lack of character. I don't think anyone should resort to it unless they're physically threatened and I have a raging temper. Controlling yourself is what makes us better than animals.
Because there are some girls out there who are really sensitive about their weight and body. That's like me saying "Yeah well you have a small dick" to a guy who is really sensitive about his penis size.
your so right!
According to the OP, that's exactly what she said to him and that's why he reacted by calling her fat
I kind of expected the reaction, but she shouldn't have assaulted your balls. If a woman says something horrid to you, are you free to punch her in the face? No.
She was wrong.
Times like this when I'm glad I have a vagina. Would be getting kicked in the balls every day if I was male.
I wouldn't have kicked you in the balls. I would've laughed at your weak attempt to insult me.
you don't know what the girl struggles with and that could've pushed her over the edge that day.
I feel sorry for you dude, she went too far indeed, but you also need to control your anger and select your words carefully.
Nothing a guy says is worthy of a kick in the balls, or any form of physical abuse. It would be the same as hitting a female for "saying" something.
It's just words and should never be reduced to physical violence.
Well... is it safe to say you won't call a girl fat again?
yeppppp she def put me in my place

If she started the dispute with very negative behavior, I might see where you're coming from. But you shouldn't have said that and she shouldn't have kicked you in the balls. Lol. If you wanna talk shit about someone, talk about their character first. Save the "fat" "ugly" comments for last.
Amen.
It depends on her personality. If she can laugh at herself she wouldn't have done this. But she might be more sensitive. Its her problem if she concerns about it. And also the situation has importance. If you two were in a row it is really offencive from you to say that

below the belt is off limits, big no no! calling a girl fat is a big nono. I think a slap would of been okay though.
Definitely not deserved. While calling a girl fat IS a big deal, the most a lot of girls I know would have done is punch or slap you.
I think its 100% worth it because girls have a low self esteem and keep trying to get it higher and then when guys come around and say those things they hurt girls bad in the heart and there self esteem goes way down.

What about not calling a girl fat? Obviously she was upset. It's all your fault dude!
No. It was over the top. It's like a guy kicking me in the VJ for calling him fat.
Probably not, but you kind of deserved it. You shouldn't mistreat people.
No that's just going too far. You shouldn't have said but she sounds like a psycho bitch.
It depends on the situation and how you said it. Girls are sensitive about their weight so although it might not seem like a big deal to you, it could've hurt her a lot.

More like a punch in the face to break your nose and take all of your teeth out :)
You shouln't call a girl fat.
you deserved it! I would have kicked u in the balls/kneed u in the balls then upper cutted u
are you kidding
no, and I am not the violent type!
its worthy of a slap
and a right upper cut
you should NEVER EVER call a girl fat even if they are! in fact you should NEVER EVER call ANYONE fat!
she said i had a small penis so i said something back
