Calling a girl "fat" is worthy of a kick in the balls, according to the average girl, but calling a guy "short" is completely acceptable?

I am 5'4 and don't really think too much my height. I mean it's an insecurity, but we all have insecurities. It's whether we let them stop us from doing things or continue to wallow in them, rather than accept it and put it aside as a thing we can't control, that it's a problem.

But why is it so unacceptable to call a girl "fat", but completely so to call a guy "short"? I mean I wouldn't have the audacity to call a girl "fat", but I am just saying...

Why is it deemed acceptable for girls to kick a guy in the balls while when the situation is reversed, the guy is supposed to just "take it like a man". The girl should "take it like a woman" too, then.

And by the way, I am not a misogynist by any means. I actually support women on the "slut-shaming" debate and think it's completely okay for women to be promiscuous and have casual sex as long as she is safe and integrous about it.

Short people can't do anything about being short but fat people can always lose wieght. I wouldn't call someone fat if they were actively trying to lose weight even if they were struggling to do something about it. however, if they didn't care and didn't even try then maybe if I really didn't like that person I would call them fat but I think I'm a better person than that. Telling someone they are fat isn't going to change them unless you are one of their loved ones and they know you are being sincere in your concerns for their weight. Calling someone short accomplish is even less and is purely negative.

Society has taught women that it is okay to have double standards, such as attacking someone that calls them a name. That is why guys have such a hard time respecting women. They can't truly be our equal until they hold themselves to the same standards we hold ourselves to. The only women I respect are women that are actually for true equality. Needless to say there aren't many women I respect.

If you're short, then you're short. There's really no other word to use when observing that. It comes down to the way someone says it. I'm tall and being a tall girl isn't exactly easy - people have pointed out my height in a perjorative manner before - but I just deal with it. It's not something I can change.

Because guys call girls fat to call out a flaw they have, and are normally being rude on purpose, but when a girl calls a guy short, it isn't to be rude, its normally to state a fact. FYI, 5'4 isn't too short. You're still taller than quite a few people 😊
