the gpu is one thing but the whole product line up, is immense. AM4 MB, 480, zen desktop and server cpu plus APU later on. AM4 is definitely something to look forward to.

what specs do you have now? I built my rig for around £200 or something along those lines. It runs all the games I want it to run (FO4 + nexus mods, 'nuff said)

you can get a skylake bundle for £130- £200

An AM3 bundle will be about the same. For the price I think it'd be best to go with i3 skylake unless you want to go the Phenom route which could be cheaper. I picked up my cpu for around £40, GPU was £60. I got some deals to save money

ah wowww. I'm impressed at how little it cost you. I didn't source my own parts and stuff, which is what I should have done. If I knew then what I know now! I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 645 and an AMD A-1067000 (4 CPUs, 3.7ghz) - I forget which motherboard. I can actually run everything I'd want to run except some games on emulators (specifically Gran Turismo 5), but the main reason I'd wanna upgrade is for 120fps. So the cost of a 120fps monitor is a factor too...
