Why are guys with an edgy rugged style more attractive?

I feel like guys who dress more dark and edgy come off as more attractive and interesting to women why is that?

Well the majority of what makes him attractive is his face. Sure, certian styles can add to it but his face is playing the biggest role in how much women lust after him.

Women like the dark triad traits. Remember the blonde kid from Harry potter, well Emma watson's character had a crush on him. Same principle.
