Why doesn't he like to FaceTime me?

Been dating this guy for a few months now. We text everyday. We see each other once every week/2weeks. Recently, I had tweeted something about how I love FaceTiming with people. He saw it and texted me asking why I don't FaceTime him. I told him I'd love to & asked why he hasn't FaceTimed me either (takes 2 to tango right?). Then he told me he doesn't like to FaceTime, it's not his "thing" and doesn't see the point of it. Made me feel a little crappy like he doesn't get excited to see/talk to me. Am I being dramatic?

Maybe he’s not really into it, some guys don’t want to see their face in the screen. Some feel like it’s a waste of time, both of you should come to an agreement about FaceTime so the both of you are happy and no one is thinking of themselves.

To me it's annoying the fact that I have to hold a phone in a particular position and stare at it when I can simply be having a regular phone conversation, and where I don't necesarily need to stop doing whatever I'm doing to have it.
