This is something my girlfriend did to me. I just wanted to see i had a right to be hurt by what she did and if she should know it's a shitty thing to do. So far yes I should feel hurt and yes she should know

Is she hasn't made a big deal out of it then she's a keeper and must really have her emotions in check. I'd be hurt by that and would have a hard time not showing it. I always see the new year in with my mates and since I've been with my boyfriend he's invited too we always make a thing of getting all together on New Years and inviting partners and their mates if they wanna come too. I wouldn't spend New Years without him I'm quite traditional I like the New Years kiss at midnight. You should have at least invited her.
I think the questions are why didn't you ask her was is a oversight or did you just not care? and knowing you might of messed up how do you feel about that? Does it bother you that you might have hurt her feelings? If it does bother you then you should make it up to her, it's chinease new year soon it's not the same but she should appreciate the centiment. If she likes Chinese food either take her to a restaurant or if you can get place to yourselves get a takeaway or cook if you can manage that light some candles make it romantic and do the countdown and kiss then. That should undo your mistake.
