So this guy is a pretty weird texter. We will go sometimes a few days between texts, and but if I initiate, he is normally receptive and will continue the conversation. He WILL double text if he hasn't heard back in a bit. He has mentioned "oh we def need to hang out" (online) and such, yet our schedules did not work for the first two weeks. He will initiate with me as well, I often find myself initiating equal to less than he does. He texted me all weekend and would be like "what are you doing", was he leading to an ask out, but when I was busy he decided not to? At one prior point he drunk texted me to, which he apologized for the next day.
I suppose this isn't WEIRD yet I'm used to guys playing more games, so I'm not sure if he's really interested. I was thinking of just grabbing the bull by the horns and asking him out. If I don't initiate, sometimes a few days go in between us talking, yet he invited to initiate more ("text me tomorrow!"). I just don't like to.
