Guy ghosted and then texted me saying he misses me?

He ghosted like 2 months ago and recently just tried talking to me again. He told me "he had been thinking about me and misses me" but he was the one who disappeared in the first place and why didn't he miss me two months ago.

why would he say he misses me and is it genuine?

I wouldn't trust him. It's possible he could miss you , but you'd be a fool to let him back into your life. His track record has shown what he's capable of.

He may have ghosted you for any number of reasons. He may have decided it wouldn't work between you both , or he could have met another girl, he may have decided he didn't like you any longer , or there could have been problems in his life. The reason for ghosting you is unimportant , coz you now know what his potential is if you do allow him back into your life. So he'd ghost you again if he no longer wanted you in his life , for whatever reason

Personally , I'd have cut all means of contact with a person who ghosted me, so it wouldn't be possible for him to contact me again. I'd have moved after 2 months of no contact. I couldn't be with a guy who left me " hanging" without an explanation as to why he didn't want contact with me again.

When you date a guy and things have been going good and he suddenly stops contacting you. Doesn't count if it's just been one day but when you have been eating a guy for months or something.
