3rd date and touching?

So I went on the 3rd date with this guy who I met on match. com. We seem to get along and have similar interests and he's very attractive. We went to the movie Snatch (which is hysterical) and I felt like maybe both of us were trying to kind of touch the other subtly. He was kind of shifted in his chair in my direction so that our shoulders touched. It was really nice and we would sit like that for a while with me kind of leaning against him (or as much as I could with that damn arm rest between us ). But than he would move away and sit away from me and he would kind of just go back and fourth. I mean I wasn't expecting to hold hands with the guy or anything. Do you think light touching is normal on the third date? Do you think I'm reading too much into it? I actually don't even know his last name yet

I think that you CAN'T be 26 and be asking this question. Or who knows, maybe in your country things are different. Where i'm from, if you're an actual adult, things end up in the bedroom since the first date. Why? Well it's simple, really: if you like him, it's going to happen sooner or later anyway. Doing it since the first night gives you certain advantages. For example, if he has a micropenis or is really bad in bed, you can just end things with him without any hard feelings from any of the two sides. I know what you're thinking: What if he is a player and just wants the sex? If he is indeed a fuckboy, he got what he wanted and will no longer be bothering you. Does it make any sense?

What if he sucks in bed after that? What if he thinks you suck in bed after that and dumps you? Bad sex is a dealbreaker for me every single time. Would the effort still had been worth it?

IF the guy is really amazing, it's still going to haunt you for a while. I've been there. The situation was a bit different. We never did anything except kiss for about two months because we never got the chance. After we did, we broke it off because of erm... Let's say genetic incompatibilities. I didn't want to date for another 6 months because of that.

He just sounds nervous. If he's only testing touching on third date, he is clearly willing to take plenty of time. If you like him, give him more, obvious green lights. Also, sometimes a guy's arm falls asleep sitting like that. He may have shifted away long enough to get the feeling back.
