In person chemistry but bad texting chemistry?

I have begun to see this guy. Our texting chemistry isn't all that great but we actually hit it off pretty well on our first date. I'm going to see him again but this whole week the texting hasn't gotten any better. Has this happened to any of you? If so does it matter?

I say hi. then what? what would I have to go off of? but if you say you'll never guess what happened to me today... me: ? keep it short enough to keep me attention. ... if it's a conversation you're looking for keep it more or less questions that he can feed off of. you talked to him in person so by now you know his likes and dislikes. you got him talking... how?

Some people just aren't into texting a lot. They have better things to do with their time and texting is a time-waster. So I would encourage you to focus on the in-person relationship (which pre-dates texting by. . . well many thousands of years).

It happens to me with my boyfriend frequently. We kind of got the hang of it with time but it's still hard sometimes. It's not a huge issue, maybe try to not text 24/7 (at least that was my problem) and don't be scared to send just an image or something or to just ask trivial things. If it really doesn't work, don't push it too hard, it's okay as long as any of you feel bothered about not texting enough or something like that.

Girl yes! The guy I am talking to absolutely sucks at texting but once we are together, I can't get him to shut up (and I mean that in a good way!). Everything is okay! Some people just suck at making conversation through text!
