How long has it been since you been on an actual date?

We go out at least once a week for date night. Sometimes it's as simple as a meal at the pub, others it's more planned out and romantic.
One thing we found that works for us, here you purchase these books of coupons for local business' where you get buy one get one free, or $40 off your total bill etc and it makes us try new places more often. Because we had to buy the book we don't want to have wasted our original investment so we stick with it
Omg of course you would ask the most difficult question to answer!!! J/k 😂 ummmmmmmm, I have not been out on a date since February 29, 2016! Ha, leap year!!! Man, it's been a long time!!! I'm a little rusty! 😂😂😂
Dates are becoming extinct!
They are... it's like people just want to bone or jump straight in a relationship. There are pros and cons to both I guess but I want something more than sex. And, we ain't got to go out to dinner. We do fun stuff! I'm not a prude! Lol!
bone lol love it
Haha!!! I have a friend who used to say that word all the time. I think it rubbed off (*get your mind outta the guttah)!! 😂😂😂
HA :+)----
😉🙃😂
Last week with my boyfriend. We went out to dinner with his family for his mom's birthday. Then we went our separate ways and walked around a bustling town with a great night life and just had fun.
I'm not a fan of movie and dinner dates.
I went on one with my man last week. The service could have been better but it was fine otherwise.
I'd say about a week. Its with this girl who im starting to like.
Prior to her, I'd say about a month.
Last night. Wife of 25 years and I go on dates every week. We have always done fun stuff together.
On update...
What is funny is the younger generation has this whole naming thing about dating and relationships, not wanting to call stuff by what it's always been called.
For example, if you spend time with a 'friend' of the opposite sex, for the purpose of entertainment and getting to know them, then THAT IS A DATE. You can call it whatever you want, but that's what 'dating' is and is about.
The other hilarious one is the 'we're not official'. Well gee honey, if you're seeing each other regularly to the exlusion of all others in a romantic exchange, then YOU'RE OFFICIALLY dating or boyfriend-girlfriend. You can CALL it anything you want.
Worse, we keep getting questions like, "can you be lovers and not have sex?". Everybody is like, well, how would you be lovers then? Isn't sex the glue in a romantic man-woman relationship? What exactly is the problem. Perhaps it's not a match, or there's something wrong with one of them. Why is the other playing the game.
I would have to agree with all you just said in this update. These youngins don't want to label things. Ugh... can I just meet an old school gentleman who still fancies to call things what they are? One can only dream of such a time!
@fortheloveofcurves Just like on my other question on living in the 50's.. you me and some milkshakes? Maybe some inspiration point with foggy windows... the good ol days HA
Things are definitely different these days. Cannot deny that!
Exactly @coachTanthony!! I could go for a crisp cool phosphate!!! Maybe a bit of canoodling! 😉
Back when the backseat of the car was big enough to be a bed. ;)
I love this response and all of the replies!! ❤️ Now where do I find this type dating? 😂
@Browneye57 Yeah I don't think the Prius would of been such a hot commodity for inspiration point ! LOL
@fortheloveofcurves A time machine? HA
That would be a no to the Prius, the Cube, the Soul, the insert names of all these teeny tiny cars! 😂😂
@coachTanthony, well damn! I'm outta luck! 😂😂😂😂
@fortheloveofcurves I find old book stores in NYC is a great place to meet these types... it worked for Tom Hanks :+)
Hmmmm @coachTanthony! NYC huh...
Nowadays they have 'netflix and chill'. In my day it was 'watching submarine races'.
Or 'going for a drive and look at the stars'
"Inspiration Point" is a good one. :)
The term 'neck' was about making out. And then there were the baseball 'bases' euphemism. I think the still use that.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Two days ago. It was a "goodbye i will miss you" date, as my boyfriend left yesterday, and won't be home for two months.
woww these comments give no hope at least I know I'm not alone
I think it was about 3 boyfriends ago. My other boyfriends were their busy or we hung out in groups.
a real date with phones silents or turned off, and just talking and being around one another? like 3 years I guess? lol,
Last year, I think dates are a waste of time. If I'm not guranteed anything then I am risking my resources or throwing money away.
Nearly 3 years now. TBH never been on a proper date anyway.
