Questions about the swinger lifestyle?

Contemplating getting involved with someone in the lifestyle... but I have a lot of questions. Some I feel would freak him out if I asked this early on and some I just wanna know others' opinions...

1. How often do you play (in general)? Like is it a daily or weekly thing, is it just parties every so often?

2. Aside from the swinging, how often do you have sex with your partner? Do you get bored of them when you do?

3. Do swingers ever settle down? As in do they slow down the lifestyle, get married, have kids etc etc?

4. What happens if you fall in love with someone else you've partner swapped with? Is this a frequent occurrence?

5. Do you ever tell friends and family?

I've never been a swinger, but I've known a few. There's no standard. many people start swinging AFTER children, some never have kids, some swing very carefully while they have kids.

To the best of my knowledge, falling in love with a swing partner is rare, although I've known of some women who switched teams after years of swinging, because female bisexuality is strongly encouraged in the lifestyle.

These are all important questions and they all end with "Who knows?" It varies with each person and couple, which is why swinging is a mistake if you want stability. You are introducing a huge X factor into your relationship. Who can say what the outcome will be.

I understand. I have also been curious and tempted at various points and had plenty of opportunities. by the way, I would not tell family or anyone else. There could be some very judgmental responses.
