What do you wear on a first date?

Question

You have a first date at a coffee shop at 5pm, what do you wear? Keep in mind it's summer.

I was talking to Piu about how to dress for dates and stuff, he told me girls in his Uni dress really casual and with leggings and such.
I found it weird because I dress up even when going out with friends, let alone a date.
I would probably dress nicely and wear heels and something pretty and not casual. I'm kinda known in my clique for liking to dress up when going out , so yeah no leggings for a date. Not necessarily a dress either, but nice hair, make up, heels etc

I have this exact romper so I would wear it, probably curl or turn under my hair a bit and wear light peachy pink makeup, making sure my skin looks good and glowy!
I'd wear these shoes bc I have some like this and I think it would look summery and cute!!
Probably also take along a black crossbody with my phone and a camera in it, lip tint and a mirror and other needs.

Wear whatever matches your personality. If you are athletic, rock an under Armour shirt and board shorts. Beach bum? Maybe just a plain t-shirt. Casual smart guy/professional personality? Wear a polo or nice collar shirt, depends on how hot it is there whether you wear shorts or jeans. If anything rock a hobby, like a band or something if you have no hobbies that really stick out.

I would wear a mini sporty dress and or shorts and t-shirt. I would prefer sporty babettes for shoes. I don't like pink and too girly stuff.
I normally wear jeans, t-shirt, hoodies and trainers on normal days, I will continue my trafition right after the date.

Usually a shirt with a collar. And a nice, dark pair of jeans that fit me well. Basically I try to dress casual, but not so casual that the girl might feel disrespected or awkward if she shows up looking nice.
