Why would he lie about his feelings?

If a guy showed all the time that he likes me through his actions for around 2 years and when I asked him about how he feels and he says he likes me as a friend but doesn't deny the question. His friends tried pushing him into me and teased him from time to time about me when I was around him. But why would he lie and will he ever work up the courage to ask me out?

My short life taught me that If a guy doesn't show you he really loves you, If he does or says nothing for having you he's idiot and not worth of your attention and time.

Seriously, there are millions of guys out there, I was like that too, the more mysterious he was the more attracted I was but I guessed why should I lose my time for someone who has no guts to say what he feels? It made me happier I must admit.

I have to agree, it's a hard lesson for some to learn but if he isn't going to fight for it... even at the beginning he never will. He will prob be one of the guys saying 'why do all the girls go for the bad guys' 'I'm a nice guy why can't I get a girl'

@Schnikies ahahaha exactly. Why should I not give a chance to guys who are ready to fight for me? I have not the slightest wish to waste my time on guys like described in the question above.
Does he want me? He can try to get me. End of story. No one will ever get my attention without deserving it.
