If my woman was a CO, well, she wouldn't be 😅. I wouldn't want to marry or date someone with a similar profession to what I do. Law enforcement and corrections are different, but the similarities are glaring. I couldn't have a wife or girlfriend that was into the same field as me. That would be tiring and taxing.

It'd be a little odd, being an irs forensic accountant. My job is typically to send people to jail.

I am dating a CO. There are days I am very happy and others I am like please get me out of here. Its not easy to date CO because they aren't very easy to read and their behavior constantly is unpredictable. One moment they are sweet and treat you to nice things and the next they are just douches and he suddenly doesn't remember that you are his girlfriend and doesn't even text you like he used to that he checked into training which he usually does. So yeah not easy if you are thinking as a girl about dating a male CO before getting involved go find a nice normal man who won't keep you on your feet because as you get older it gets taxing.

I dislike law enforcement in general. I think that field disproportionately attracts egotistical assholes. I also feel like a girl who would be drawn into that field would lack a certian level of sweetness/innocence that I find attractive. That and I wouldn't like the idea of my girlfriend being around criminals on a daily basis.

Besides, that is probably a rare career path for a woman to choose so I don't think I would be limiting my options too much by filtering them out.

can't say I 100% agree but I there is also truth there... also more women do this than you think... but it often does change them so I agree on that
