WHY IS THAT MY COWORKER NEVER TALKS TO ME?

I've worked with this girl for over a year and she's never had a conversation with me. She's really outgoing with all the other co-workers making jokes and having convos but around me she's really quiet maybe a word or two. And the thing is I'm the same way to i talk to everyone with no problem but when we are together its silent.

We are the only 2 workers that don't talk to each other and it has me wondering if she likes me at least a little because I don't know what could be a reason we've never talked I've done nothing to offend her in away since I like her.

I've recently asked for her number and I always initiate conversation with her and we text here and there sometime for hours and the convos great but in person there's nothing. I really want to ask her why she never talks to me at work but I don't want to ruin my chances. I've asked my coworkers if she was single and they told yea she is as far as they know so I'm scared to ask her because I don't want to make super obvious I'm into her.
