So I've been talking to this friend of a friend and decided to waste no time and ask her out to bowling. She then says oooooooh id love to see but im busy this weekend with soccer and i have plans with friends, next weekend?

Is this a polite rejection?

hi, well it could well be truthful because its only two weekends very close together i guess only by arranging perhaps either a mid week date or the next weekend will you know, then if the same response or a no show, then yes you will have your polite answer for sure, xx
