Every Monday this girl tells me she did nothing over the weekend, does she perhaps want me to ask her out?

Sometimes I ask, most of the time we're just talking, greeting each other and tells me and usually very quick as to move on the conversation

Today for example she said she didn't really do anything this weekend without me asking, last week I asked how her weekend was and she said she didn't do much just stayed home with her cats and rested, and it's been pretty much like that for about a month every Monday

We've known each other for a few months and I guess we're close? She sometimes begins to dance in front of me randomly, she is an oddball at times, and we flirt from time to time, usually started by her. Just don't know if she wants anything with me

If you want to ask her out, I would. I wouldn't be like "lets go on a date", but I would ask her if she would like to do something on the weekend. Like maybe go to an event like a market that's taking place, maybe to check out a new coffee shop, or go to a cat cafe since she has a cat... I don't know. Something chill. Get to know her as a friend first and see where things go :)

Cat Cafe sounds nice yeah, and there's one nearby. I've asked her to lunch one time and she wasn't able cause her parents came into town early, so I've been apprehensive of asking her again, especially without implying it's date

Nice! And thats understandable. You could make a fun joke of it, saying that youve never been to it but it sounds fun. It would be nice to go with someone who likes cats too. And then leave it up to her schedule. You can ask if she's free over the next few weeks and then she can get back to you. :)

Leaving it up to her schedule sounds like a good idea, basically telling her "whenever she can let me know" right?

I asked her to lunch about a month ago and she first said yes but then her parents came to town early and she had to cancel, haven't asked her to do anything since and have been afraid to. She had a breakup two months ago, I had one four months ago, so that just makes my fear bigger, not only whether she likes me but if she's ready. But I'll try leaving it up to her and see what happens!

Man I've never told her she looks gorgeous, it seems out of place but I probably should. She's complimented my hair a few times but I've never reciprocated

Yeah she is awkward at times, as am I which is why we bond. Her parents came to visit for Thanksgiving weekend so I'm gonna wait until they leave but I love your idea. It's hard for me to find the "right moment" and bring up asking her out so might as well try that :)

Yeah, I've already waitied too long (two months) but she continues coming to me on most days so I think I'm fine for now...

She had a breakup two months ago so I didn't want to be pushy but it's probably about time. Just gotta wait till her parents leave since her parents are her whole life and I'm sure she'll say not to whatever if they're still here. As soon as they're gone, no more waiting!

She could have genuinely been busy that day. Try again and if she cancels this time again just say okay. Let me know if you wanna do something next weekend. So then the ball is in her court. If she genuinely likes you she will make sure she calls you. Then you will know if you are wasting your time or not

Ha we've hung out before and she's definitely not a good girl, just very lazy and likes to be alone like me, which is part of the reason I like her. I just hope I'm not reading it wrong
