Girl Says She Loves Me Then Disappears?

So I had been seeing this girl for about a month or so, she told me she loved me and would joke how she would want me to kidnap her and run away. She went back home (Brazil) and then I started hearing less from her, yet she still claimed she loved me and had never felt this way for anyone. Fast forward a few days and I learn she is seeing someone else. When I confront her she tells me how sorry she is and that I should forget about her, that I'll find an amazing girl and that we shouldn't speak anymore.

Basically, I'm confused about all the other stuff, why would she lead me on if she was just going to see someone else from her home country?

No, I suppose not. It's just difficult, I definitely still have feelings for her.
