What's wrong with my tinder profile?

I've been using Tinder for the past two years with basically no success. A match once every blue moon, 1 response every 5 matches thereabouts and a sum total of one date that didn't really go anywhere.

I'd like to enter a relationship but also more casual stuff too. But tbh any female interaction would be valued at this point.

With the photos provided, please tell me what I can do to improve my match potential. I've been told by a girl I know that I need more travel shots and pictures of me out to kinda prove I have a life so I'm working on that. But for now these are the best I've got.

Alright dude, to be honest because Tinder is superficial as anything. Here's what you can do..

1. Your bio is far too long, try and condense it down. Not only are a lot of girls not going to bother to read it, but it also makes you look like you're trying too hard. I don't even have a bio for example.

2. Your pictures are alright. It's good that they show you out and having fun with people and not at home alone on the couch or whatever. However there's nothing that special about them. To have a lot of success on tinder, you really need to be looking like a model. Have high quality photos, good lighting, don't always look at the camera etc. You don't need to have that many photos with other people either, only one is fine. They're interested in you, they want to see you, so only include pictures of yourself and maybe one (two max) of you and your friends. Including photos of you doing activities you enjoy can be good as well (playing tennis etc), as opposed to drinking alcohol. Think about what your pictures say about you.

3. I'd take your job off your profile, there's no need to give them that information unless you're certain it's going to boost your matches. Not having it there also gives you more to talk about later.

4. Get Tinder Plus if you don't already. It's crap, but Tinder is a business and it really exists to get you to pay for Tinder Plus. Tinder is a number's game and unfortunately if you don't have Tinder Plus, your profile won't be shown to nearly as many girls as if you do have it, meaning there's girls out there who could like you but just not be able to see you. Getting Tinder Plus instantly makes you more 'attractive' in Tinder's algorithm and therefore shows your profile to more girls, you also get Boosts which put you at the top of every girl's stack for 30 minutes. I feel like I'm advertising Tinder here and it's shit that I have to say that, but that's the way it is. I found Tinder almost useless without Tinder Plus however I get roughly 6-10 matches a day with it, which proves it wasn't my profile.

Thanks heaps man. I've been getting mixed opinions on the bio length, thinking of running an experiment of one week with and one week without a bio (however including the joke I have in both cases)
I'll try removing the job but the way Facebook and tinder link up is so fucking rigid some things I can't change.
As for photos me and a mate of mine are gonna do a photoshoot specifically for my tinder haha, he owes me a couple favours. I'll also reduce the group photos too.

Haha, awesome. Yeah, Tinder usually requires a bit of trial and error to work out what's best. But you're definitely doing the right things, I guarantee you'll get more matches.

Remove the last picture, it makes you come off as the guy who just tags along on couple dates-without a couple. The picture where you're drinking something and your friends are on the ground, doesn't look good-they look like the guys you play video games with in your living room/basement. The rest are good pictures, in my opinion you should only have 3 pictures that are clear. One of your hobbies-a whole body pic-and one of your face. I thinkk the one with your Bichon Frise is nice... girls like dogs, and a bichon frise is a very cute dog. I'd suggest you take a much clearer picture with him/her maybe one where you're holding him (like the one you already have, but clearer, where he or she is looking at the camera) or one where you're playing with the dog in the grass playing tug of war or fetch.

As far as the bio goes, try to cut down the details but still add enough to where it leaves them wondering.

Thanks man, well spotted on the breed most people assume its a poodle- you get 10 internet points for that. I've been thinking about doing a wrestling shot in the grass that might work because she's super playful and I go into my play-fight persona that might offer good photo opportunities. I play Dungeons and dragons and Warhammer, would a photo of me in one of those be a good or is that too nerdy? I'm not too outdoorsy but I could go on a bush walk or wait until our next camping trip because those photos wouldn't be entirely fake I like doing those things. The full body pic won't be hard.

I've cut down on the bio as instructed by other respondents to just the first two paragraphs and I've removed the bad pictures, thanks again man!

The picture ideas you have are great, especially the dungeons and dragons. Why? because that's who you are, and there should b e no reason to hide it. In fact, that alone should help you find someone who is also has similar interests... just refrain from posting pictures with too many people around you.

I think your photos are fine, the second to last one is the best in my opinion. The description is a bit weird though. I'd completely skip your opening line, it's not a great joke. It's unnecessary to say you're single, otherwise you wouldn't be on Tinder. Also, if you're mainly looking for a relationship, don't say you're looking for friends. Dinner, drinks and coffee don't seem nerdy at all, they're just normal things to me. I wouldn't even mention height, but I guess it's important to a lot of girls.
I'd put something like "6'3, I enjoy board games, movies, video games and running down Wikipedia rabbit holes. Let's get coffee sometime :)"

OKAY BRUV. IF u want some matches, start over, get rid of allll those pics, I don't know if any of your friends are a good photographer, but get them to take a good photo. Im into photography myself so i suggest the picture be just you, minimalistic, if its a pfp dont have too many things in the background, this is so she doesn't make assumptions and conclusions about you and your lifestyle, this is so she'll message u and ask you about it. dont stare right into the camera. Work on your smile a bit. and overall just make yourself seem more confident and outgoing in your description

yeah, coast or city street. But get a friend with a high end ish camera. and let him do colour corrections to make it look good, just dont post any bad pics and you'll be ok

Yeah I gotta calm myself too, because when I'm getting photos done in a public setting I get anxious, feel people are judging etc but ultimately that shit doesn't matter. I'll need to find a Coast or city Street and spend as much time is required for the perfect shot.

The memory part is the funniest. Keep that and get rid of the rest. We can tell you’re tall so no need to put your height in there, it’s a little annoying when guys say their height if you’re clearly over 6 feet. The last picture isn’t flattering so take that one out and I mean the one with the girls in two pieces can either make you seem like a total ladies man in a positive way, or make a girl insecure if she doesn’t look like them.
