What do you think of backroading with music as a first date?

More relevant to a HS relationship, I'm curious to everyone's thoughts. What do you think of a couple's first date being just out driving around alone on backroads listening to some soft music?

My opinion, I did this with my Girlfriend, it's a good way to get to know each other without any pressure of anyone else around.

Note where I live, the closest Wal-Mart for heavens sake is a half hour drive so we don't have a huge selection.

Could be great. Could be terrible. As long as she doesn't think you're driving to some abandoned area to rape/kill her, it'll probably go well.

I guess it was worded strange for rape and that sorta stuff. Do you live in a bigger city or go to a bigger school? Just curious. Where I live it's a normal Friday night for a bunch of friends to go backroading. And our high school is so small everyone knows everyone really well. Like my girlfriend I had been decent friends with her since Kindergarten, we know each other well, we grew up together, but our first 'date' was backroading

That does honestly explain a little more, there are about 35, 40 other kids in my Sophmore class

Our current senior class is 47 kids. Would be so strange not to know everyone in my high school. Like I said, for the city for the matter Everyone knows everyone, everyone knows everyone's parents, everyone knows everyone's siblings, etc. I do love it though

Oh yea, you do something stupid, like trip and fall down stairs, nearly everyone 2 towns over knows, except instead of them thinking you fell down stairs the rumor has twisted so much to the point that you tried to bomb your school (yea rumors are interestingly interpreted sometimes)

I love it. Everyone around my town takes drives on summer nights out by the lakes and it’s so peaceful. Sounds like a great date to me
