Mostly B but that does depend. If she is into like gangster rap or something idotic then that become more unattractive. Most seem to like the same music the kind of girls I like to be around anyways. Not that I hang out with them over music just seems to be a pernsality thing maybe?

No but I think the ideas and music you choice to listen to can say a lot about you. Some people just listen to anything but some people really resonate with what they listen too.

I don't care if he listens to boring music but I don't want a guy who listens to songs about violence and hate and murder. If a guy likes songs about chipmunks and monkeys, that is fine.

Sorry but no to vulgar, blasphemous rap/hip-hop music.  I don't like the beat or rhythm (if any).  It's worse for me if the lyrics have profanity or project violent behavior.

I don't go to concerts so what the other person listens to on their headphones is not important to me.
It's always nice to have things in common and things to talk about but music is just one aspect of a person's personality and there are so many others to explore as well :)

I finally am with a guy that loves the sane music as I do! Rock-'n'-roll from the 70"s. We both know all the words to songs from back then, so we make playful games with them. For instance, he will sing only 3 words of the song, and have to guess what song it is; and I do the same thing with him. It's really fun to do together and makes us laugh a lot
Then there are songs that we slow dance to and that is romantic ♥️.

No it's more how they listen to the music that can affect it. If they don't respect that everyone doesn't like some music and adjust it will cause friction. Personally I don't really have a music taste since I don't have that interest. Still there is bad and good music and the first you don't want to hear, it would cause suffering rather than enjoyment.

I find it strange to be turned off just cause they listen to music you don't like... unless it's like real satanic worship type music then yes that would be a bit odd for me, other than that I wouldn't care to much. My husband listens to certain music, bands, songs etc. I don't care much for all the time. I still love him.

I might judge them a bit different based on their taste in music. But just like other things, people have different interests that doesn't all have to match.

As long as you have some things that is connecting you together, whether that's your taste in music, food or other interests.

Kind of. Like I don't like metal music and I think guys who listen to metal music are weird (no offense). And also if they like country music, I would be put off because I think most men who listen to country music are conservative racists and are backwards. But if they listen to broad spectrum of music then I don't mind.

If she can't appreciate good music and only listen to mundane talentless pop shit, I might judge her harshly. Fortunately I like good music of all types. She better at least like one of these- reggae, classic rock, classic country, blues, grunge, classical, jazz, 90's hip hop, surf rock, or oldies. I don't listen to much new music but will listen to it if it's not crap.

Maybe an extreme case like if he liked music that talked about being violent to women or being violent in general I would wonder what was going on, like is this a joke or are you taking this seriously, but in general, what more often happens is that I think people take music of WHATEVER KIND too seriously, I tend to like musicians who are popular but not considered "deep" or meaningful (a lot of pop), my main factor is "can I dance to it."

The thing I dislike the most, is when they insist on playing their own music. And it really isn’t much different than what we were already listening to. Usually the type of person who makes those “Perfect Spotify playlist for everyone”. I find those people “Tasteless”, basic, and/or boring.

Hard to explain, but I like music tastes that dive deeper than a particular artist’s radio hit single if that makes sense.
