I disagree. That experiment was debunked within weeks of it being done. What they found was about a 50/50 chance of choosing the white doll over the black, they got the same exact results from white children where they chose the white doll as being uglier or bad (depending on which version of the study you do). The study was debunked in the fifties I believe. In fact if you look at statistics black women are the least likely to date interracially while white and black men both are more likely to date outside their race (in fact women in general are less likely to date outside their race then men are). The reason why, in my opinion, black men date outside their race are for several reasons. The first, I think its a status symbol to them, not all obviously, but enough and I think part of that was due to the black power movements of the 70s which where an attempt to "hurt" white men by dating white women. The second reason is because of the current political climate, it essentially states that blacks and women are the most oppressed groups and has been pushing black men white women relationships in order to create a pairing that was "most oppressed", which is why (to my irritation) you don't really see black women with white men in media nearly as much (white men where painted as the enemy so it would not give the same affect as the victim white woman and the victim black male as you would then have the "oppressor" white male with the "victim" black woman (Most of this is a narrative as historically every group was oppressed by every other group as they also oppressed every other group (slavery for instance was found in every culture in the world and on every continent with people on it and predates the written word yet its only reffered to when whites did it (which was actually considerably less time then other groups (climate played a factor, slaves meant extra mouths to feed in winter and it wasn't viable as it was in warmer climates hence slavery being more common in the middle east, Africa, and central and south America. Terrain also factored in to a degree as well). The third reason I think is because black men resent black women. The reason I think that is is because of the rampant fatherlessness and I think black men blame black women for it. I think both parties are responsible for it but the problem with it is that fatherlessness leads to many issues (in fact all the issues that the black community is experiencing can be linked to it),

I beat the odds, I'm black and like black women. But when I was attending university in the US, every black guy I've seen were dating black women. while the guys not in school wanted white women.
I'm guessing education has something to do with it. Because black women in college would be interested in me while women that weren't in college had -100% interest. But most black women in general are not interested in me but other races would do whatever it takes to get me to spend 1v1 time with them. I don't think black women are taught to look for guys with potential like how other races of women do. They choose the wrong kinds of black guys and be damaged when meeting a good guy and ruin his experience. It's a bunch of damaged people damaged and bringing and keeping each other down. But of course this doesn't apply to everyone though.
Black men always expect the worst from us. Were all the same to them. We are loud, angry, ghetto, ignorant, we don't need a man acting, dyke acting, overweight, college degree boasting bitches to them. We are easily stereotyped and defenseless. There's no gray area for black women. They assume that we are all gold diggers and want thugs as mates. They assume we all are entitled and lack respect. They mistake our frustration for anger.
If black men don't want us fine. Please stop talking about us, and stay away (run since were all the same) and never come back. This also applies to the MGTOW guys in the audience. If you hate us, keep us out your mouth and go your own way.
I wish some black women didn't suffer from Stockholm syndrome and stop forgiving black men who constantly out there to hurt you. Loyalty can have serious consequences especially towards folks who are out there to destroy us.
I watched that experiment about a year ago, the people who set these things up are sick.
For the record, both dolls are pot ugly.
Because of representations like this... but you know us black women complain too much, we should get over it *sarcasm*

I agree with your statement. However, all lessons are not learned and a large population of the community does prefer black. But here's my thoughts:
I know that many sources have distorted the view of black men and women. Just take a look back during any time before or in the 1900s. This is nothing new. But in this new day and age, it's manifested itself on media platforms. Take a look at hit reality shows, movies, or even popular memes over the internet. 9/10 of these forms of media include and depict black women and men as ignorant, uneducated, and undesirable people.
Logically speaking, who would want someone who is perceived as ignorant, uneducated, and undesirable? Nobody, it doesn't make logical sense. But rarely will they (and when I say 'they', I mean any stereotype) show an educated, desirable, and intelligent black male or female on their platforms. Why? Not because they don't exist, but because that's not the image they want the world to associate with black culture. There are plenty of other races where the people within that given race associate these connotations to 'their' people. But these negative traits are for the most part, only associated with black culture. Probably where the term, 'Black Sheep' comes from.
Nevertheless, I do agree with your statement because that's the image our culture willing wants to associate with black women and men. What a load of soykaf. I was raised to treat everyone the same and to believe that the only differences race implied were physical. I was never taught that black girls were unattractive and the media I consumed should have told me they were if it had the supposed power everyone likes to pretend it has.
Attractive black girls are just rarer than attractive white girls for me, and there's nothing wrong with that. I feel nothing when I see a woman's rear but the media's been shoving that down my throat since the day I first saw TVWell, yeah in a way continuously shovin beautiful "White" people or anybody close down our throats as we consumed it as kids.. But we personally love all women.. Growin up all my crushes were "Black" women, and even now I still love the thick lips, and big behinds that more "Black" women don than not.. But, I will say that most "Black" men and women marry each other.. In fact unless you live in a certain city you don't see a lot of interracial interaction with "Black" people..
From my discussions with black men about dating black women, it isn't that they view white women as better. It is either just their preference, or they tell me that black women are too harsh, too demanding, not compassionate. These aren't my words, I'm just relaying what I have been told.
They have dated white women and seem to prefer them over black women for their own reasons.
The real question is why is it such an issue that black men aren't dating black women. Let them date who they want, why does it matter?Men of all races can like women of all races and vice versa. I personally prefer coal-black women and ivory-white women. I like the contrast. Even with that though, skin color isn't really important to me. I just find those extremes especially beautiful
Why do people always end up saying that, why can't some black guys think of a black girl as attractive, but have no interest dating them? Why do they have to "hate" them? I like black women as I do like every other women, (only the ones that I meet with like other people I meet) but I have no interest getting in a relationship with them, it's nothing that has been "taught " to me, some of my friends prefer to date black girls, I'll go out on a limb and assume you think I have some sort of self-hate? If not, then cool, I'm glad you don't think that, but if you do, I can't change your opinion, or the way you think that I think.
Am not American but I have come to notice that "some" black American ladies seem to be too concerned about other people's preferences... are there statistics out there proving that most black Americans love other races more than thrs? Are there plenty of sisters without men ( because they have gone after other races?)... am simply curious
You shouldn't lose sleep over anyone who don't like you based on the color of your skin. Because fuck them and start to focus on yourself and find someone who likes you for you.
Wrong. No one is "teaching" black people to date out. If that was the case who is teaching blacks this?
Black people are choosing that on their own will since black family culture has been demolished. You can thank liberal policies and the democratic party. & by the way, that is not why black guys say they don't like black women...Dont loose sleep over black men if they dont care about us. Just be with a guy (regardless of race) who likes you for you.
Oh hey it's MSNBC! Are you sure those black guys aren't just dating "white African Americans"?
I take it you're a black woman feeling a bit insecure, yes?
Well then you'd expect most new marriages to be interracial. They're not as of yet.
Don’t know where you herd that but I’m black and I love black women. They can be cray cray sometimes, but that’s okay cuz my love makes you crazy lol
Alternative facts. To this day most marriages are within the same race. I live in the heavily black populated side of my city, out of 10 couples I see maybe at most 2 are interracial.
Not true black men can like any kind of race white, Asian, Puerto Rican, black, Italian it shouldn't really matter on the race it should matter about the love
Black family culture has been destroyed by progressives and their welfare programs.
Looking at American universities they are taught to hate anything but black.
Soon as i saw "a conversation about race" i knew where this was going. There is a reason why other countries laugh at us. Just move forward already.
Is that really being taught? Does it even needed to be taught? Some things are just inherent.
