Its kinda weird, this comes from someone eho eat sweets and chocolate on a regular basis lol maybe i should just date a bodybuilder
Is this common?
I don't know, that seems a little picky to me. It's up to you to date them or not, but I think you'd miss out on some good guys if you dislike them, just for eating junk food, to that extent.
I'm apathetic about this, personally. As long as it doesn't cause her health problems, like gaining tons of weight or bad stomach aches, then I could care less what she eats. It's not like it's gonna effect me much.
It wouldn't be so bad if you weren't a hypocrite...
I don't eat any junk food, no sweets, and only 70-100% dark chocolate. I find it a turn off if a girl eats junk food because it shows a severe disconnection with the body and the spirit, which also suggests a likelihood of operating through the lower self.
@Jon_25 The body is a unique vessel that is a gift. The food we eat should nourish it and show reverence, but I believe the more disconnected one is with what they are, the more likely they are to eat simply for pleasure and satisfaction. This would be done without any concern for what the vessel needed to reach it's full potential, or to operate at its highest level. Therefore the more junk one eats, the lower their vibration would be, and the less likely they would be to reach their full potential.
Operating through the lower self is the term I give for when we are operating through the ego (egoic desire), the physical plane, and survival. It's not necessarily a negative thing, sometimes it's needed.
Compare the food likely to be consumed by a severely depressed person, compared to someone that isn't. There are as always, exceptions.
I’m not a fan of someone who only eats junk but to find a fit and healthy guy to be unattractive because he has an occasional junk food lunch seems very odd to me. Even the healthiest person in the planet should be free to treat themselves to a cheeseburger.
Well you are not going to attracted a bodybuilder if you are eating sweets and chocolate on a regular basis too.
Regular basis doesn't mean often, it just means it regular. I eat those kind of things once a week, but i also lift heavy, go to the gym 4 times a week, play football and eat healthy

Bodybuilders eat junk food like McDonalds as well. Some of their food has lots of protein and once they start lifting they will burn the extra calories. My dad did lots of bodybuilding contests and helps train others and they eat junk food because they know the calories will burn off but also easy protein to eat before heavy lifting.
Can't really say if it's common because if someone says this it's because they don't eat it.
But I guess that only counts for the ones that wants to look big and muscular.
Everyone should be able to enjoy themselves every once and a while but not every single day. I totally get not being attracted to someone who eats fast food every day but to not like someone because they eat it occasionally is strange. I do think it’s a bit hypocritical of you to find it unattractive when you eat junk yourself, but it could just be how your mind works. I don’t think it’s such a bad thing as long as you don’t put the person down for eating junk.
You can find what you choose unattractive but to be honest if you broke up with him for it, he probably dodged a bullet because it is not your place to judge what he eats.. I on occasion will eat McDonald's, it's rare, we are talking once every few months, but I still on occasion eat it.. a person that is turned off by something like that is unworthy of my attention to begin with.
I don't think so. Junk foot isn't bad in general. It's bad when you eat too much of it. For example I go to Subway or BK maybe once or twice a week. I don't eat chocolate, I lift, I mostly eat healthy, and I only weight 68 Kg at 183cm. Maybe it's the junk food itself what you think is gross
This is a HUGE turn off for me also!
I couldn't date a person who updates their social media about McDonald's breakfast 😷
But also things like scotched eggs, or really common builder's-breakfast type foods. Total turn off!
No, that is not common, but it is understandable. It is a reflection on how they live the rest of their life. I was seeing this girl once who ate a lot of junk and her lack of concern showed up in other parts of her life constantly
I couldn't date someone that I could never steal fries from 😂
That is strange. Do you dislike just when it is a habit. Or you would dump someone because he told you he had hamburger exceptionally.
What if he's muscular though still likes a big tasty with bacon ^.^
It would still be a turn off
Lol when I hear someone likes junk food it’s great because we can talk about it/eat it together lol
No that's just weird and obviously a double standard.
You eat sweets but don't like when guys do? I hope that's not what you're saying here
Once in a while is fine. If he eats at McDonald's daily then yeah it's turn off.
I don't think you're weird for having a different perspective on guys eating junk food than most people would normally think. It's just how ur opinion.. it doesn't make u any different or weird. But let's say that it's not that common for people to find it a turn off.
Are you into fitness and in shape? It does make sence to me to a certain degree. Once in a while won't put me off but yes I find mindless junk food eating off putting aswell.
It's not weird at all but try to see the hypocrisy there. You could either not judge people who eat junk food sometimes or not do it yourself, but you can't have both :)
Really?
Then I guess make yourself a boyfriend out of Kale, cuz you'll be pretty lonely.
What if a guy ate whatever he wanted, and nothing happened? No exercise either and stayed small?
It's less about the looks and more about eating something unhealthy. A slim guy who eats junk food all the time is just as unattractive as a chubby guy who does it.
No, that's not normal. It seems rather perfectionist; and one would have to question your dating motives. Just sayin'.
this is not common and yes you are weird
