First message on Bumble?

So there's this cute guy on Bumble who I want to message but I don't want to just say a generic"Hey" or "How's it going?" But I'm super shy and nervous and don't know how to talk to guys. What should I say that isn't cheesy and will jump start an actual conversation?

One thing we do have in common is dogs, I love dogs and he has a dog but the only semi good message I've seen for that is "Full disclosure I'd say I swiped right about 70% because your hot and 30% because your dog is adorable." I just feel like that's to cheesy, and common. Guys help me out here!

Lol I had fun with my icebreakers using Bumble. It's a position that us girls aren't often put in, so it's a good opportunity to get creative!

Your line about the dog is nice. Compliments him and also shows you like dogs.

My icebreakers range from general open-ended questions ("what do you like about your job?" Or "tell me about how you spent your last day off.") to random nonsense ("what kind of drink do I look like I'd order at a bar?" or even "what is your least favorite natural disaster?"). Lol that last one even responded to that; I honestly didn't expect him to!

Anyway, just don't put so much pressure on it. Bumble puts us in the driver's seat for once, so just enjoy the opportunity to woo the guy!

I dont think its that common for girls to hit up men first, so i think if you do he will take the ball and run with it. And your idea of 70/30 would make me laugh so sounds like you got this already.

Why not just ask him what the dogs name is?
