It depends, if you look at China they have a higher suicide rate for women then men ( one of the few places in the world) They think it's because women are the ones expect to take care of the elderly there, which is the verse in the west ( men are the breadwinners).

Women as a gender would lose all self esteem. A few would adapt to ask guys out, and they'd have tremendous success, prompting other girls to mimic them, resulting in women asking me out becoming the norm.

Yes, I hope I can have a child with the best man I can find. I don't need to be in a state of 'constant' pregnancy in order to accept my primal instincts though.

I think that it would empower women, to not have to constantly be on guard for unwanted attention, conversations, and harrassment, from men who feel entitled to just approach a woman/women, and expect them to be immediately enamored, by the simple fact that he is "attracted" to her/them.

I think we would witness a cultural shift. It's not like women don't approach men these days, but I believe we would face a bit of a role realignment, where women take the lead in relationships. Where it would eventually lead, I cannot say, but I would assume it wouldn't affect birth rates too much like others keep speculating. People like to bang, and that won't change.
