Girls, why would you start responding less to a guy's texts?

I've a crush for a girl who lives far away. We've been texting for the past couple of months and have met over the brief winter vacation.

She has always been responding but recently over the past couple of weeks, she's been sending delayed response (almost a week) and in a couple of cases, quite brief. But her response has still been positive overall, you can tell she put thoughts in her reply.

Not sure what's the reason? She's just started her semester at school and may be busy with internships / job search...

I would assume she’s either busy or is losing interest. I know personally I have loved the potential of a relationship with someone but hated the distance and when I realized that, I took a step back. It wasn’t personal and I wanted to remain friendly but I wanted him to get the message that the romantic flirty aspect was over.

If she's keen and not replying as fast as you want her to, ask her what's going on. Tell her you've noticed this blah blah blah and communicate with her. Sheesh honey, it's not too difficult 😊
