What's the biggest challenge you face when Dating?

Most people seem to have "hang ups" when initially dating someone new or for the first time. There are a multitude of different things that can affect our personal lives from work stress, lack of time, bad location and family drama they can all contribute to it. But, Let's not forget about our own personal baggage that we carry in to every new relationship.

Some of us get hung up on a old flame, some don't trust themselves or others enough to start really dating and sometimes we don't know ourselves or what we want in someone else. Still, maybe a few of us can't find someone at all or are just trusting in the lottery of love to bring us someone special and probably a few more reasons I can't think of to list.

So what's your biggest challenge when it comes to dating?

Even if I found an attractive woman I'd want to be with, due to recent "innovations" in how dating works (more like regressions, thank you #MeToo), I typically avoid women outright instead. Why would I want to go out with a woman, if there's a high probability that she can A) use me as a meal ticket B) wait to see what resources she can extract C) accuse me of rape if she isn't satisfied or D) all of the above?

On top of that, she''d have to give me some pretty-substantial reasons to get married, because there's basically no benefit to me and every benefit to her, so there's really no point to dating at all.

What's my biggest challenge to dating? Women, just everything about them nowadays. I wish that weren't the case, but wishing upon a star for things to get better does not make it so. I await the comment section, to see how many women chew me out for this and prove me right. Let's see if I'm wrong.

Getting a date to begin with. I'm possibly one of the worst at introductions you will ever find. Gotta love the awkward.
Also, it's hard to find somone with similar life goals and world views. I think those are essential if you want a lasting relationship.

I wish I could find a that understands that even though I’m older and still single I’m not in rush to commit and have kids. I have no trouble meeting guys but they always seem to want me to get serious right away instead of letting the relationship progress naturally, then they’re always perplexed when I’m not feeling it.

Meeting people who are single and the appropriate age. I know a lot of single guys - most of them are 18 - 23 years old! If I can find an attractive guy in his 30's that is single - and isn't single for being deplorable as a partner - then I will date.

They exist, but they’re more likely to date women ten years younger than we are unfortunately. I want to stick to our age group as well but I’m starting to wonder if perhaps my mom was on to something. She’s been telling me since I was a teenager to date older men lol.
