How fast do you jump into a relationship with someone?

For me it’ll take around 2-3 months in getting to know them. If they can tell me what my favorite color is or something of the sort. I can’t imagine dating someone I’m not friends with first.

It absolutely depends how /quickly/ both of you are obviously going head-over-heels. If both of your hearts are racing then it should be so amazing that it still feels like a friendship. It's stellar and almost once-in-a-lifetime feeling.

I usually need some kind of friendship before I go to the next level but there have been exceptions. If you don't move quickly with some women they will move onto someone else.

That way I get to know them, see do we have anything in common, and make sure he's worth dating.

I'm not jumping into a relationship with a random guy I barely know; I rather know and be already somewhat attached to him first.

It depends on how fast you connect or not. A relationship is all from some weeks to some months. But move together that would for me take at least 1 year because as you said we don't know each other until it takes some time.
