Why would a guy deactivate all his social media? Is he hiding something?

I've been talking to this guy on a dating site for a couple weeks now. We haven't met up yet due to our busy schedules but are trying to this week. He had his Instagram account linked to his profile online and I could see some of his pictures without actually following him but last week, the pictures disappeared, meaning he deleted his account. Also, I looked him up on Facebook to make sure he was real when we first met and it turns out we even have a mutual friend in common. I was going to add him on FB yesterday but now his name is completely gone, so that means he deactivated that too. Why would he do this all of a sudden? Could this mean he maybe has a girlfriend? I didn't see any pics of him and any girls on his insta but you never know...

I mean obviously maybe he's just over it but it seems really strange because he was really active on it before, posting a lot of pictures, having a lot of followers etc Something just seemed off is all

Not necessarily. Maybe he's taking a break from it or doesn't want people stalking/following him. I only keep my fb account active to check on people when I have to. Otherwise, my account is blank... and I like it that way!

I'm not saying he's not up to anything, just that you shouldn't assume anything yet. Just talk and get to know him like people used to before social media made everything so convoluted

Something must have prompted him to change. Most people have left social medias when they want to focus on their lives instead.

Social media is short of socialist media and maybe he is finely waking up that the government and companies are spying on him. I think he had enough of the bullshit.
