What does it mean when a guy lingers a conversation by asking to walk with me before his work?

After we both talked with each other, he asked if he could walk with me before his work started. We've been good friends for more than a year. He also told me at the end that "it was nice talking to you." He also was shaking his leg while sitting down and talking with me. Also, told me to come to more events on campus and asked my plans for the weekend. Additionally, he went we first hung out he placed his Starbucks frappe cup next to my coffee cup while we were talking with friends because me and him had got coffee together. Does he like me more than just a friend?

Yes he is. Very interested. The leg shaking is nothing to worry about at all. A lot of people have it and it is involuntary. It's actually a harmless neurological thing.

But he doesn't want to ruin the friendship, and has a huge amount of respect for you. Which is why he is treating you with dignity.

He wants to get to know you more and wants you to get to know him more. Best way to tell is by two measurements:

The first thing is a thing called "rate of effort". It means you measure where he places his effort. Does he ensure that he is well dressed and groomed, perhaps more than usual. Does he make an effort to be doing things with you more than he used to. How is the conversation? Is he engaged and listening to everything you say and having a meaningful input to the comversation.

The second thing goes hand in hand with that, and it is body language. Does he maintain eye contact, does he smile and keep looking at you or smile and look down. Does he sit with his hands together and rest his chin on his hands.

There are many body languages to read, amd don't overthink it. Enjoy each other's company amd see what happens

But I confessed my feelings to him recently and he said he wants to focus on himself before he goes into something serious. He still continues to looks at my snapchat and instagram stories. Should wait for him. In my opinion, usually when men hear that a girl likes them and they don't reciprocate the feeling they ditch those girls. I had that instance happen with other guys. He hasn't ditched me. So I'm confused? Should I wait up for him?

I think yes, waiting has it's advantageous side to it. He is super keen on you, BUT.. you are both young. Was different in my day and my country.

Ok. So no harm done, no friendships broken. You are still friends. Os he interested in you despite his want of getting a career first? Yes.

So worst case, you are both great friends. But it doesn't mean there isn't a future together down the road. The guy is wise to focus on the career. But he is failing to understand he can have both.

Often our heads and hearts are on a different page. Listen to your gut feelings. You know he likes you. You lnow you like him. He wants the college and career, which is wise. If you were a thing, could you trust him while he is at college. So many things to think about.
