I would if it wasn't their first language. And I wouldn't care if it had something to do with their dialect like in the pictures
As long as I could understand him, it wouldn't be an issue for me.
Thanks for the MHO 🌹
i dont care about her grammar its just small details for me
I mean it might bug me a little, but I'd still date them ^^

If English was her second language, I would be very tolerant of poor grammar. However, the foreign-born women I have dated have all had better grammar than most Americans.
If English is her native language, I will treat poor grammar as a sign of poor education or lower IQ, or both. That probably makes us incompatible, so I would be cautious about going very far with such a woman.
I would! I know and understand how difficult it’s to memorize and stick a second language rules. I still make horrible mistakes when I speak English but I prefer to laugh about it and learn from those mistakes. 😊
It really depends. Since I lives in Norway and prefer to date an ethnic Scandinavian; preferably ethnic Norwegian because of the communication would be easier, I wouldn't accept bad grammar in speech. I would be fine with people speaking another dialect than me and not writing perfectly if they've dyslexia. But if they had a very poor grammar and pronunciation, it would be difficult with communication and I'm already struggling with it as an aspie myself.
If I went abroad and dated someone there where we only spoke English, I would be more open for flawed grammar and be less annoyed. But it had to be understandable. Bad grammar doesn't need to mean low intelligence. Sometimes people have speech problems because of an injury. I've imperfect English grammar and pronunciations because of it not being my first language in addition to me not learning languages as fast as some other people.
Your English is really good, and I'm a native speaker.
@CaptainSmartass, thank you. It's good to know. There have been people telling me my English isn't very good too on this site.
It depends. It's not the same if it's someone mothertongue or not. If someone has bad grammar in their first and native language it's very unattractive, while if someone commit grammar mistakes because they are not native that's ok. At least for me is not the same when a Spanish speaker writes awfully than when a forgeiner does.
Just as a mere cutiosity, in case of "didn't do nothing" that sounds like a transliteration from Spanish, as we Spanish speakers say "no hacer nada" to mean "not doing anything"
Yes, because in my country everyone has a different first language. Most of the men I dated first language was Afrikaans and second language was English. Whereas my first language was English and second language Afrikaans. Therefore their English grammar wasn't as good as mine.
I don't think I could handle it tbh.
I saw an Instagram post where this guy's girlfriend was describing eating tuna fish for the first time.
She called it "chewna".
When he explained that it was "tuna". She said that "Tuna is the fish but chewna is the food".
sometimes it's almost hot... like i'm taking advantage of them. i met a woman from peru like this. she had the hottest accent and cutest attempt at English. she was taken by someone i know coincidentally, but she told me to visit her country. i guess that's where he found her.
It does get annoying after awhile. I know this is going to sound bad but it makes me feel like they're uneducated, and I kinda want them to be on my level.
My dad is bad at that. He can't spell. Always adding letters to words. Hell he spelled my name wrong on my birth certificate.
It was my Dad who made me pick up on my grammer and corrected me all the time, but I am very glad he did.
@hughfraser my mum is that person for me. Thank God.
I dont think so. That would be annoying i would be trying really hard to hold myself back from correcting him. I went through college and I probably wrote over 50 papers. College whips you to shape. And if I meet someone who writes really bad that would be kind of annoying. Unless they make common mistakes that most people miss, that would be fine. Like cannot is one word but people write it as two words. That's a common mistake people mess up on.
The writing (texting) part would bother me the most. If someone doesn't know the difference between their and they're it eats away at my soul 🤣🤣 I wouldn't mind if they didn't use proper grammar when they are speaking (I guess it would depend on the degree of poor grammar) but when the text is wrong I think "doesn't your phone have autocorrect? Maybe you should use it" 🤣🤣
Yes I'm not a prude I'm quite acceptable of people who have me intrigued by they're very being bit of a sucker for personality of people who catch my breath lol
If you mean orally then no I probably couldn't it wouldn't even be good for kids growing up.
If you mean on paper etc then not really because grammar is just something that helps you breath you don't need a dot to tell you when to breath your brain does that for you.
Depends on how bad it is. Generally I don’t let it bother me too much. I suppose if their texts look like a rabid chimpanzee was typing them I’d probably pass, but I try not to be too stuck up about it. My grammar’s not perfect either after all.
HAHAHA. Oh yes! The grammar in that country is terrible. Went there last summer and they speak ''AMERICAN'' and it was hilarious. And don't forget when they ask (Is you or is you not?) i start laughing when people say (Is you) it is beautiful lol
My grammar is probably is on side of on bad area. One thing that I dislikes about some user just put what? On opinion. Some I told user that have learning disabilities and they got
defensive.
As long as I can understand them I couldn't care less about something so trivial as grammar. Language is for communication. As long as it serves that purpose it's OK with me.
Lol it depends on how bad it is. If I feel like I’m losing brain cells when they speak, fuck no. If it’s just an occasional mess up that I correct in the back of my mind I don’t care that much.
i don't give a shit as long as they actually know basic grammar mistakes. i don't speak/write with proper grammar, but i can tell when i do make a grammar mistake, for the most part... i just usually don't give a flying fuck to correct myself
If they can't go at least 3 sentences without a grammatical issue it'd bother me a bit, but I wouldn't give up a chance to date them if that's one of their only downsides would I?
One should have full mastery of their mother tongue. I'd be embarrassed to date someone who couldn't construct a simple sentence.
My partner is dyslexic and it doesn't bother me at all. If someone's grammar is bad, you shouldn't stop you, it's a very insignificant issue
If their personality was good and we were compatible, I still would, though excessive bad grammar irritates the hell out of me.
An intelligent person couldn't possibly have bad grammar so no
Definitely not. Every time they open their mouths I want to punch them. 💚💙💜
Sure. I don't mind as long as we can communicate verbally and understand each other just fine.
Yeah. Grammar isn't huge because even the most grammar conscious people speak in poor grammar without realizing it... sooo it doesn't bother me as much
Couldn't care less.
Someone's grammar doesn't say how intelligent someone is or how well developed their feelings are. only fools tries to claim that it has.
Speaking, writing or both. People who speak with bad grammar drive me nuts. People who use the wrong "your, you're, to, too, two, there, their, they're, who, whom, etc" will generally get a pass.
If I loved the person then no, it wouldn’t bother me. A well spoken bitch would bother me though.
As long as she doesn’t ask me for money I don’t care lol
appearance, personality and financial stability is important filthy jag is cool
I don't mind it for written sentences for informal messages. I can't stand hearing it though
Yes I would date someone with poor grammar its no big deal at all
I don't care as long as she speaks my language. I can teach her English easier that way
I would date someone with terrible grammar if they were hot
Bad grammar doesn’t bother me, especially when we are cumming.
as lon as i can easily communicate grammar is secondary
Poor grammar is a pet peeve of mine. Someone who uses poor grammar comes off as unintelligent to me.
I probably wouldn’t. It would annoy me too much.
That's how I talk lmao
I am a grammar Nazi, deep inside
can't say never dated a person like that
I'd teach her if it wasn't her native language :3
l would date the girl
No that's a problem for me
Well depends all if we are in love
No, I wouldn't
A minor failing.
Well I dated someone who can’t speak well so no😭
It's irritating.
I would and I could
