I love you
I’m hungry

I don’t like
I like
but they couldn’t write or speak in long paragraphs or more sophisticated sentences like I just did.

Trending & News Whether or not you would consider dating someone with a low level of English proficiency is a personal decision that depends on your own feelings and priorities. It's important to remember that language proficiency is just one aspect of a person's character and that there are many other qualities that can make someone an attractive partner.
However, it's also important to consider how language barriers may affect your ability to communicate and build a relationship with someone. Communication is a crucial aspect of any relationship, and if you have difficulty understanding each other or expressing your thoughts and feelings, it could create challenges and misunderstandings.
If you and your partner have another mutual language that you can speak and understand fully, it may not be an issue if they have a low level of English proficiency. However, if you find that their level of English is hindering your ability to communicate effectively or understand each other, it may be worth exploring ways to improve their language skills, such as taking English language classes together.
The success of a relationship depends on a variety of factors, including communication, shared interests, and mutual respect, and language proficiency is just one of many factors that can impact the relationship.
Ultimately, it's up to you to decide what is important in a potential partner and whether or not you feel comfortable with their level of English proficiency. If communication is a concern, you might consider working with your partner to improve their language skills or finding ways to communicate more effectively despite the language barrier.
Yes, as long as the language barrier didn't prevent me from fully making a connection with her. The problem with not speaking the same language would come down to not being able to "fully know" somebody, because that person is unable to accurately express themselves in a language you're able to understand. That's the only potential worry. But if that connection is still there despite the language barrier, then absolutely I would. 🙂
In reference to your "update."
In that case, my answer would have to be "no."
I don't think I would be able to communicate with someone well enough to possibly even KNOW them. When you only know a handfull of words, it's impossible to convey any of your thoughts or feelings to someone. You can't communicate well enough to even get a sense of what someone's about... let alone "make a connection" with them.
So unless we were able to communicate in some way that I'm not thinking of... I would NOT consider dating a person who had THAT low a level of fluency in English.
i think my English is low level so absolutely i would date someone like me
I wouldn't because educated people attract me the most.

I have dated women from Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Ireland, Brazil, Colombia, Philippines, China, India, and Vietnam. All of them had some limitations on their English and there were times I could not understand a word they were saying, had to ask them to spell it. But patience has always prevailed.
Yeah as that is no problem for me as I have been that individual in other areas of the world.
Well, if we shared another language, that'd be okay. If we didn't... To be honest, I WOULD find it kind of interesting to build a common symbol set and create a weird pidgin with someone, but the kind of people who'd even be willing to do that make it a very self-selecting group.
it should not be a problem... as I could speak other languages myself, and then I could help to get better with it
I'm unlucky enough to have just such a permanent partner.
Otherwise she's lovely :D
So I transferred my intellectual conversations to somewhere away from home...
No, I would need her to speak fluent English to know if we are even compatible as friends, let alone as a couple.
Intellectual conversation and deep conversations about shared interests are what gets her foot in the "best friend" door. Only a female best friend of mine can become my wife.
Depends. If she speaks one of the Romance Language we can communicate fairly well, or at least get by.
Its fine, its like having a cat or dog.
the language isn’t there but you understand them
If it were due to a lack of experience rather than a lack of capability then yes.
Да, конечно. Sí, por supuesto. Ja, natürlich. Esyay, ofway orsscay.
Almost certainly no.
if you are cute and nice sure i will.
I’m already taken
No I wouldn't
Yes.
Nope.
