@Aiko_E_Lara dude who cares, if your 5'7 take it and live with it and be confident within yourself, you can change a girls perspective who says I only want to be with a tall guy. I used to date a girl who said the exact same thing. This girl was probably 5'9-5'10 and in heels a good 6 ft (for a girl). That's tall yes, but even though I was 5'7 she was attracted to my personality, she found me to be handsome, I made her laugh a lot, she really respected my views. If your wondering what happened with her and I? We grew apart, wanted things in different parts of our lives, I wanted to go to grad school and she wanted to start life right away. I don't take girls seriously when they say I ONLY WANT TALL GUYS. It's fine if a girl says that and means that, but even if she rejects me because of my height I won't pout about it because if she barely knows me she won't know who I truly am.
@The6ix Dude, the trick is that every time they meet a tall guy then they're going to be "confident, nice, smart, handsome, funny," while short guys will not be. They project those traits onto men they find physically attractive.

I meant to say i don’t follow that perception, meaning be confident and funny regardless. Eventually it will pay off where a cute/pretty girl won’t care.

It's totally acceptable and fair for you to want a guy that's taller than you.
But it's also 100% acceptable and fair for a guy to want a woman that's not heavier and wider than him.
@ThisGuyDucks well I don’t see why not, that’s basically the same thing isn’t it. If I fell for a shorter guy that’s fine but I doubt I ever will. Currently, at 5ft4 I’m dating a man who’s 6ft1 so I don't know about that but I’m not completely closed to it like I’m sure you’re not completely closed to heavier women.

But I disagree that weight preference is same as height preference since weight can be changed over time but height is fixed.
