The label "plain jane" sometimes refers to girls who are simply not pretty and sometimes it is used to refer to girls who are spectacularly unattractive. I have dated several women who were not pretty but I have never dated a woman who i considered to be unattractive.

I would not date a woman who I considered to be of questionable character and who did not have a warn and caring personality. Some of them were physically attractive and some were not. However, on the scale of purely physical beauty, there is a point below which I will not date because I am confident that I would never develop an attraction to the lady.

i would say a plain jane is below a 5/10. they teeter on average looking even when at their best. their personality wouldn't be bad but definitely more introverted and awkward most of the time.

Yes, it is always a bit surprising how a woman who is extroverted and energetic is more attractive that a woman who is shy even if they otherwise look identical.
