i was in a relationship for 3 years, when i turned 21 i wasn't happy and i broke up and i wanted to have fun and meet new people. i was out one night and hooked up with this guy of course i stayed the night and we swamped numbers but like its a one time thing nothing usually ever happens after wards.
anyway so after this the guy won't leave me alone, addin me on all my socials, going through all my Instagram pictures and liking them all and callin me 3 times a day and he will get annoyed if i don't pick up. anytime i post on twitter (for example a male friend) he will ask about him and put up tweets like "hes loyal even tho not in a relationship" i explained to him many times i don't want to be settled down and i want to meet new people. i have to keep making excuses as he asks to sees me all the time. how do i gently put him down so he knows

Just say it plainly in person, or via a voice call, that you do not want to be attached to any guy, and he shouldn't put emotional investment in you, as it'll lead him towards stress, and push you away.
If you're ok being friends with him, then tell him that you're keeping it casual, but he needs to step the heck back with the expectation of constant communication, as he isn't your boyfriend and nobody is going to be for a long time (and he doesn't have dibs either).
