Not exactly sure, but I believe this has something to do with biology, where humans tend to prefer others who don’t look too different. I believe I read or heard somewhere that we all generally prefer someone who looks more normal rather than unique, exotic, etc. I’m not sure if I’m getting this right, so if anyone sees my faults then correct me. I believe we gravitate towards more normal faces and appearances, at least what we consider to be normal faces and appearances. This whole thing might be related to the idea that men and women who look and act similarly, are more apt to bond better than men and women who are different in these respects. I think we’re just hardwired somewhere in our thinking to be more attracted to those who fit our idea of normal and at the same time, share physical and non-physical qualities as us. I also think we can kind of tell whether certain traits are out of place on a person, which might inform whether or not we like them. That picture of that woman with white hair does not necessarily look normal and some might say that there’s something wrong/out of place with that picture. There are certain traits or features of a person that can compliment their overall look, so things that are out of place might not make a person look as great. I personally think that woman in your post would look way better with black hair. I think black would compliment her more and looks more natural than white.

Not sure about that particular girl. Her hair is unnatural unless she managed to persuade Geralt of Rivia to turn her into a witcher. In the right picture you see a lot of photoshop magic at work. I find your own face much more attractive than the girl whose photo you shared.
Apart from that we are all unique and so are our tastes. Personally I have never found Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Alba or Scarlett Johansson to be attractive, yet millions of men find them to be the epitome of beauty. So what exactly is unique beauty?
Because people naturally like something they are familiar with! If you showed people blonde hair everyday when they were a child they would prefer blonde hair!
Unique beauty is often thought to be odd looking!
But my being odd is by being something no one else is! Being different is what we should all wish to be! Yet we seek comfort in choosing our friends for what they look like! How can you say a guy likes you for you when the only difference between you and your best friend is your shoe size!
People think they stand out by having fake tots etc... but actually they are just the same as everyone else! Be different because why waste your time being something and someone you think people want!
We are all unique but have fallen in to the trap of wearing what everyone else does and therefore lose our identity!
the definition of unique is basically rare. so by definition, most people will be attracted to the most commonly available features that are seen as beautiful. the people who find unique beauty more beautiful will be fewer in number and unique beauties will also be more rare, so i'm doing a horrible job of explaining it but basically... statistics.

I honestly find her very attractive. I'm a girl, and I have a husband, but I'm an artist and she is an aesthetically pleasing female to me. Her dark skin is framed nicely by her white hair, her face shape is good, her eyebrows are shaped nicely, she is very pretty overall.
Fake enhanced beauty. That's not her real beauty.
Most of it is all fake.
Anyone can lie and pretend with fakeup. It's not unique. She's just doing what a million other girls have done. Dye their hair bunch of makeup etc. Nothing special.
Her natural beauty is what would be unique.
That's just me personally. You're confusing two things. That picture screams money and fame to me, but it won't be if the 'product' isn't certi too. It takes a lot more (and less of you consider beauty to be a God given gift) than beauty to be famous. It takes hard, smart work, luck and some invisible blessings like the right personality to both sell and do business with too.
Everyone has unique features that are beautiful. The term ''unique beauty'' is very vague and everyone will understand it differently. But this photo right here is just simply of fake beauty. Hair dyed to an unnatural color, shitloads of editing and photoshop and filters in both photos, not just the one with makeup, and the lighting makes the hair look even more fake. I am sure she is a very pretty girl but I would like to see her in normal lighting without the effects.
Many of the things we consider "beautiful" (face and body symmetry) are indicators of good health, reproductive fitness, etc.. there is also a general human preference for other humans who look similar to us because that's something of an approximation for member of our hunter-gatherer tribe which means his/her behavior is predictable. All of which makes for a better mate choice.
Now, having said that, my preference is a bit outside of that norm, but I can see the sense of it.I'm not sure what is unique about her beauty (is it the eye color? I mean that's fairly rare), not saying she isn't beautiful just that I don't understand where the unique part comes in. Personally I don't like the white hair (its not bad, just not what I prefer), but otherwise yes she is very attractive.
I think it's the contrary actually. People tend to get blinded with someone's uniqueness and swap it with beauty, but if something is unique, it's not by default beautiful too.
That girl is eye-catching because of her hair-skin-eyes combination, but when I actually look at her face, there's something really odd about it and I don't find it beautiful. It's not jealousy as some would probably like to say. I just don't think she is beautiful.I don't really care how unique it looks if majority of it is fake.
But I dont think "unique" beauty is overlooked. I think that the beauty industry goes overboard with fashion and beauty and in reality most of it looks crazy. I don't understand why people over look simple beauty or natural beauty.
But hey, beauty is subjective and what you consider beautiful could look atrocious to someone else. The picture on the left looks better and you can see her more, the way the makeup is done there enhances her features. Moreover, I think it’s overlooked because people like to follow the culture or community too much of what is defined to be “beautiful” which isn’t most of the time underneath air brushing/photoshopping etc
Beauty is highly subjective,
... maybe you associate the image with something good? You do realize that that is not her hair and it's not even a very good wig. It's like Halloween hair.
Can someone explain for me the meaning of "unique beauty", please? What makes someone unique in beauty terms?
This isn't unique beauty- This is Melvnin. A black woman, with dark brown eyes and black hair, who wears a wig as well as contacts.
She’s definitely stunning. I wouldn’t say that unique beauty is overlooked so much as people have been taught certain beauty standards by their culture and it’s difficult to look past that.
Because it's not natural so any girl can decide to look "unique" like her...
I don't think it is overlooked, it is getting more and more popular. Everybody's searching "uniqueness"
The comments section is stupid.
Because people want to follow everyone else and look cool. They lie about their preferences. It's over looked cause it unique meaning it not the norm so what you think is unique beauty may not be to others for instance the girl in the pic isn't beautiful to in in fact she looks creepy and scary to me lol I'm just being honest
Bruh it looks like you ripped the hair off of an old lady and stuck it on a young African-American female!
Odd choice to show beauty. That picture looks like something you'd find guarding the gates of Mordor.
