My boyfriend is a brown guy - Latino. I'm very white lol
He was telling me he doesn't like latinas much and prefers white girls. I've dated guys in the past who felt the same, including black guys. He was explaining that he thinks white girls are prettier, sexier, that he likes lighter colors on his girl in general (I have blonde hair and green eyes), and he said the attitudes are very different and that white girls give a latin guy more peace and happiness.
Im always kind of confused on what to say to that. I want him to prefer me over anyone else of course, but I love him and dont want him to be hating himself. Like if he hated being brown. I love his culture and am so proud of everything he is as a man, he has nothing to be ashamed of. I do get defensive when latinas give him shit for being with me though...
