black woman here who pretty much exclusively dates white men and here’s why:
-they are more physically attractive to me! i find majority of white men to be extremely hot. -we tend to like the same things. for example i like pop/rock music and like to skateboard. from my experience, white men are more into those things or at least accepting of them. black men find it “corny” or too white for them. -hardworking. this is huge. white men tend to have more life goals and have more of a want to manage a good life for their future selves. as someone who’s in college and headed to graduate school afterwards, i need someone on my level. -they value family dynamics! to be clear, black men do too. my dad is very much in my life and him and my mom have been married for 25 years. BUT on average white men care about family dynamic and being apart of their child’s life more than black men. this is essential to me as i value marriage and refuse to have children out of wedlock as i need my children to grow up in a household with a good foundation. -and most importantly, they’re so loving and caring. whether i was dating or just friends with a white guy, they’ve all been extremely supportive and always looked out for me. they made an effort to get to know me and really find out about who i am.
i’m sure there are lots of black men who have these traits as well as Asian, latino, etc. just giving my thoughts based on my own experiences.
And no it’s not racist. Preferences aren’t racist unless you literally think a person of a certain race is “less than” just because of their skin color.
