Has someone ever wrote you a love letter?

Question

In my case it wasn't exactly a love letter, but after the first night we slept together, my girlfriend did send me a very long love text in which she bared what she felt and some things she had went through over the years we were friends. That was the cherry on top that convinced me for a relationship, and I saved it.

The part I like the most and gives me the heart flutters is:
(Translated) "You put so much color in everything that was so grey in my life".
Every time I feel insecure about myself I reread it and this line especially.

I love women who are romantics at heart because I'm one. My heart would have gone out to that woman. I also love people who are willing to honestly express their sentiments and can do it eloquently.
