I called my girl and a guy answered the phone, she told me she was sick from drinking the night before but when I called later I'm the day to check up on her she said she was out with friends, later on she said she was sorry and that her phone was in the car and that the guy who answered it always does that. Not sure if I'm being paranoid or if something else is going on.

Well, she prob knows how it looks to u. The trick now is to figure out if she's bullshitting about what happened.
If she changes her story a lot, that's a problem. When u see her in person, ask her about it and watch her eyes, face, and body for signs she's uncomfortable.
If she isn't comfortable telling you about her night and morning, and her story is inconsistent with what she already told you, then you've got a problem.
