How do you react if someone is giving you a slow fade?

Confront them and break up

Don’t answer their messages or block them and pretend they don’t exist

With options in mind. I would need to know why before acting. Someone fading you could just be going through a rough patch. I wouldn't know if I was going to break up with them until I could be sure why.

I agree with you. I’ve tried to find out and let him know I miss him and care about him but it’s fallen on deaf ears.
I even told him I loved him and he said nothing.
It’s time to end it, right?

If you have made an earnest attempt to reconnect, but to no avail, then I would say yes. Sometimes for reasons I will never know, people choose to close the border of thier hearts. You should not have to be left in the cold because of thier decisions. Best of luck.
