How fast do feelings fade?

If a girl breaks up with a guy after almost a year does her love for you leave quickly or does she still have feelings that could make her miss you and change her mind? What needs to be done to try and re-kindle the emotions. The break-up was because I had been starting to doubt the relationship and it started pushing her away by arguing about it but as the saying goes, "you don't know what you have till it's gone!"

Feelings fade for a girl BEFORE she breaks up with you. So by the time she leaves she has already moved on and has someone else in line. You doubted the relationship, basically you called her out. She used this excuse to leave you and not have anything be her fault. Now she can move on with no guilt. There is doubt in most relationships out there so that's not a real reason to leave.

Move on and don't chase her, that will just boost her ego and put her on a pedestal. Find another girl. After one year to leave because of that sounds too fishy. There is another reason or reasons why she left you trust me. It's not worth chasing someone that doesn't want you. You will be wasting time and effort that you could be putting to other things.

It depends if she's playing games or not. She might be playing hard to get.

She wants you to work for it, so that you appreciate the catch (easy come easy go, but something you worked hard for you don't wanna let go)

She might have been over the relationship for a while now because of what you told her and being indecisive.

I know the saying, maybe you need to give her a chance to miss you, so that she realizes what she had when it's gone. :) Try not contacting her for 2 days, and see what she does. If she doesn't contact you, she probably is over it.

Obviously you hurt her, so I think if she really loved you she'll keep her feelings for you inside and move on. If she didn't love you, she probably forgot your name by now.

How to re-kindle the emotions? you got to do some significant effort to win her back. Start with an apology letter explaining what happened. Let it be honest, clear and touching.

i'm a true believer in if you loved someone at any point you always will or you never really did at all. Get this, my ex-boyfriend broke up with me and the last thing he said was "I love you." Go figure.
