Smart, every day, all day. Beauty fades for men and women. What sticks around is how engaging you can be, how much you can excite each other. Smart women I've found to be better in bed, have more intense relationships with, plan for the future and be able to execute those plans, and enjoy each other's company more.

Let's say less intelligent women, most of them by choice of not engaging themselves in curiosity, they're fun for a while, but it fades like an edison lightbulb with no vaccuum, burns hot, burns bright, fades just as fast.

I would imagine women have the same opinion of men by and large.

If it has to be one of the two extremes, I'd choose smart.

Smart is good because then we can have intelligent conversations and she's capable of figuring things out for herself when necessary and helping me figure things out sometimes.

The only real requirement I have though is that she be capable of doing and making reasonable decisions about a lot of things. If I couldn't trust her to make good decisions about anything and felt like I had to do everything because she wasn't capable of understanding anything, that would be a big problem. So I think I'd be fine with average intelligence or higher, but smarter is more appealing.

I tend to like ones who are passionate about something I find interesting and competent at it whether she's an athlete or an artist or musician or researcher or anything of this sort. It is not important to me if she is stereotypically bright, but I do like ones who are passionate and competent at something I find interesting.

I like talking with smart girls, I like talking to less smart girls. As in, the smart ones engage in conversations about more complex things, which I really enjoy as I do like intelligent conversation. Less smart girls are fun to talk to because I like teaching people things and they like smart guys. Like I'll nerd out about physics and they love it and are genuinely interested. Intelligence is a nice to have quality HOWEVER it often but not always comes with terrible baggage. In which case a dumb girl is better.
